My Trykon had a real soft buzz when I first got it. The Hoyt dealer called me and asked me to bring it back. He said that he thought the design of the Stringshox sometimes separate the string enough to do that, and that after I bought mine he had started tying small rubber tarantulas right at the end of the Stringshox (toward the stringloop) and that took care of it. There is no sound to it now! How many other dealers would have called a customer back, rather than wait till they complained?

One more thing...the chrono told me the "tarantulas" didn't slow my arrow speed at all!
