Got to shoot them today..All I can say is WOW! I'm a believer! They fly just as good , if not better than the Sonics I was using. bigger cut and an extra blade..these heads are deadly acurate. I'll use upthe sonics I have leftonvarmints .

I hear ya. I got mine about two weeks ago and was blown away how well they flew with my field points. Been shooting muzzy 3 blade 100's and they were pretty good but right now they are takin a break. Slick tricks all the way.

Edit to add; hit a tree today(didn't tasteso good as the turkey would have) Pretty much destroyed the ST, managed to salvage 1 blade. The sonicsare definetelymore durable ,at least when shotinto trees [:@]LOL.

How did you destroy the ST? They are a solid steel machined ferrule? What did it do to the head?

Shot two deer this year with ST's. Both pass throughs with huge holes and wide blood trails. I'll be using em next year for sure.

After shooting expandables for years and rarely getting a pass thru I decided to try the ST's. I 've shot three deer this year and I am never going back to expandables.

1st deer- doe at 23 yards. Complete pass thru. Deer ran about 35 yards.

2nd deer- 1 1/2 year buck at 15 yards. Deer was quartered toward me, arrow hit in front of shoulder and buried to the fletchings. Deer ran about 50 yards.

3rd deer- 3 1/2 year buck at 15 yards. Complete pass thru. Deer ran about 50 yards.

I shoot 58 pounds with a 470 grain arrow (about 240 FPS)which gives about 55 pounds of kinetic energy. The thing I loved the most was how they shot just like my field points. One last thing, I shot all three deer with the same arrow and broadhead ( after replacing the blades).

I also switched this year from the Muzzya to ST's!!!!! I have had the chance to shoot deer yet, hopefully in the late season. I do like the way they fly like field points!!!!!
