Bowtech Limb Screws

Bowtech Limb Screws
I brought my Bowtech Allegiance up to a bow shop to have the top limb bolt lubed. The guy fixed the limb bolt, but he did not loosen the screw on the side of the limbs before backing them out. He cranked the bow up to 70, and then back down to 60. Would this one time accident hurt my bow?

RE: Bowtech Limb Screws
I did it to my Diamond a few times, before I found out not to.Who needs directions right?Well,it seems to be fine. When I loosen the side bolt, and adjust the limbs,I can't really tell any movement when I look at the hole,on the opposite side of the bolt,it seems like it always stays centered with the slot.....I am not a pro by any means though.Hope I helped.

RE: Bowtech Limb Screws
Other than scraping the camo finish off of the limb pockets it shouldn't hurt anything.
I might find another pro shop though if he doesn't even know to loosen the set screws before adjusting the poundage.
