Hi Butch, tell you what, email me your address on the slicktrick.net site and I will send you a set of 100 STANDARD blades to put in the 125 ferrules, and you can try your test again. The reason the 1 1/8" blades are termed MAGNUM is that they cut about 25% more than the other heads and certainly blow a bigger hole. The 1" blades cut about 10% more than the other heads and make the same size or a bit better hole. For instance, the Stinger is 1 1/16" X 3/4", you can certainly see the 1" X 1"Trick will make a bigger hole. I labeled the STANDARD just that, standard, because they equal the size holes of the best selling 3 blade fixed blade heads on the market. When you get them, try your tests again, this time it will be more of an apples to apples test. And for those who have not noticed, a 3 blade head with the same diameter as a 2 blade head will open a better hole, well duh, you say, just about everybody is shooting more than 2 blades because they know that. But, do people realize since that is so, that a 3 blade head with somewhatless diameter than a2 blade will therefore open a hole equal to a 2 blade with greater diameter? By the same token, a 4 blade head of the same diameter opens a bigger hole than a 3 blade of the same diameter, and a 4 blade head of somewhat less diameter opens a hole the same size as a 3 blade head of greater diameter? Envision a narrow rectangle as a 2 blade, a triangle as a 3 blade, and a square as a 4 blade, that might help. By the way, be careful attributing greater penetration to a"cut on contact" tip when in reality the head is actually cutting less. Oh, behind getting the 1" STANDARD heads and blades on the website, fooling around on the puter, LOL, but if you want to order them just write in 1" STANDARD on the order form, they fit the same 100 and 125 ferrules as the 1 1/8" MAGNUM blades, I hope to get the order form fixed this week, THANKS GARY

Thanks Butch, that was interesting. More interesting is that those are my two main broadheads. 150 grain Stingers for the longbow, and 125 grain slick trick for the compound (that is if I ever pick up the copound again.
).
