Slick trick vs. Stinger 4 blade
#1
These are the 2 heads that fly best from my bow.
(I have only shot the 2 blade stinger, but hope the 4 blade is just as accurate).
They both have qualities I like, but I need to choose one.
I like the Stinger for the cut on contact design, which can slide through a deer so smoothly they sometimes don't realize they are hit. The only thing I don't like is the smaller 1 1/16" cutting diameter with the small 3/4" bleeders.
The Slicktricks have the larger 1 1/8" cutting diameter that I prefer.
But the "splash" design of the stubby heads leaves me wondering if they could "slip" through a deer as smoothly as a cut-on-contact, or if the animal will always feel the PUNCH of the broadhead's entry.
