RE: New 1" cut slick trick broadhead test results
I just checked out the Slicktrick link. http://www.slicktrick.net/
They look nice, and have plenty of testamonials in their favor.
What really impressed me was the all steel ferule. You don't see many heads with replacable blades that have the steel ferules. Even Muzzy uses an aluminum one.
They also have some very thick (read: durable) blades. The 125 grain are .035". That compares to a NAP Thunderhead at .027", and a Muzzy at .020".
By being able to tailor penetration depth by changing the blades, the Slicktricks appear to have several advantages over some of the more common heads.
I'll keep them in mind when it's time to buy more.
