Default Removing iron sights from 700ML - How?

I would like to remove the iron sights from my 700ML. After removing the screws that I thought held them on, they are still attached. Because of a scope, there is no need for them on my gun and they get in the way. Thanks.

The front ramp is held on the barrel by two srews, remove these screws and the site will com off. One of the screws is under the blade, so you must remove the blade - tap it out from the left to the right as you hold the gun. The rear ramp also has two screws holding it to the barrel. One of the screws might be under the ramp site so you will need a small allen wrench to loosen the sliding portion and move it out of the way. You will probably need to pick up some filler screws to fill the holes in the barrel.

Good luck
