Default bullet combination question

Last year I shot 295 Powerbelt bullets with 2 50 grain 777 pellets out of my hunterbolt mag and got great groups out to 120 to 130 yards. I used to use the Barnes 300 grains Expander/ Red Hot copper bullet with great results on deer. Trememndous tissue damage from these bullets. Which do you guys think would be better to use with the same powder and gun combo??????

If your shooting distances & powder charges vary, the Barnes is a more consistent bullet on game.

Default RE: bullet combination question

I shoot the 250 grain Barnes Expanders and their accuracy is exceptional. I can load anywhere from 80 grains of FFFg to 100 grains of FFFg. All it does is raise the level of impact but nothing right or left goes out. I shoot 80 grains because for the distances I am shooting that is all that I should need. Now if the deer would just come out in the day light and let me test my theory.....
