I have a Omega 50 Cal. I see all these people using 250 plus weight power belts. I have mine 2 years and use 2 50 pellets and 185 power belts. Is that bullet to lite ? The gun is sighted in and I shot 2 deer with it.But again I was at a sports shop sale and everone was buying 285 powerbelts. If fact they did not even have anything there under 200 to buy.

Did the projectile you were shooting provide a solid knock down? Is the accuracy with that projectile acceptable? If your answer is yes, then keep what your doing.
You can try a larger projectile if you like. Many people like to get as much weight into their projectiles as possible without suffering in accuracy.
If your allowed to shoot sabots where you hunt, just for kicks, try some 250 grain Shockwaves with 2 pellets or 130 grains worth of pellets if the power is really needed and see what you get for accuracy. I shoot a Black Diamond and with the 250 grain shockwaves and 110 grains of loose Pyrodex RS the accuracy is hard to believe sometimes out of a muzzleloader.
I am now playing with some 460 grain No Excuse Conicals shooting them with 80 grains of Goex FFFg and the accuracy is excellent. This Black Diamond is a good shooting rifle.

Most likely, those are Black Belts that arrived early-on & are no longer available in those sizes because they didn't perform well (too light) & were discontinued. Unless you have multiple packages of each, you may need to re-sight in with the new sizes offered by Powerbelt these days anyways.
To the best of my knowledge, the 50-cal 225s would be the next closest & that grain size may not survive also. I suggest you try the 245s.

cardeer,
As far as I know, the grains for the Aertips PB's I have seen are 245, 295, 348, and 405. 245 and 295 are good for deer, higher good for elk or bear. I personally use the 295 grain for deer and they shoot great out of my inline and flint.
