Default T/C Rugged Rods

Are these supposed to be top of the line? I have had trouble out of my new disc elite rod. The end piece pulled out. Knight is sending me another.

The rugged rods have a serrated end that just cuts the hand up. These are the best: http://www.xssights.com/models.lasso...owerrodunder30

My T/C Rugged Rod works great. My only complaint is the end you push on. It comes with a small rubber stopper that soon wears out. Because the other end is not drilled, you can not put a T/C T-handle on it like you can their ramrods that come with the gun. Also when you get a range rod, get a long one. I got a 32 inch one and I would never go to a smaller one again. As for the end that wears out where you push, I took a chunk of oak, and smoothed it all out and then drilled it to fit the end of the range rod. All I do is put that over the end of the rod and I have a real nice thing to push with.... They are a very strong rod.....

Holy cow, I went and bought one of those rugged rods, and ended up getting a T/C range rod. If I mess up this one, there is something really wrong. Solid as a rock.

Same one I have... It is a 3/8 rod I think with 10/32 threads and like you say, it is one strong range rod. I am going to think of a way to take that thing with me when I go hunting even. I am lost without it now...
