RE: Field Accessories
I like my T/C Rugged Rod first and formost. I would not even go to the range without it. As for my short starter, I have a T/C plastic black T-handle short starter that works good and saves on my hand a lot. I cut my own patches from a yard of cotton pillow tick. Some of the better lubes out there are bore butter, mink oil, and homemade moose milk. I like RWS caps but can not get them in my area so I settle for CCI Magnum #11.

RE: Field Accessories
I only bring in the field while hunting what I absolutely need. That includes loading or reloading, bullet starter is needed if not using Powerbelts, speedloaders with premeasured powder and bullet, pan powder if flint and primers with loader if inline, and a prelubed patch if I need to run one down the barrell. If I am using the flint, I also bring with me a large paper clip so I can push powder into the touch hole or clear it.
All other tools are in the tool box at home or in the truck, depening on where I am hunting.

i carry WAY to much with me......i can clean my entire rifle properly in the field.......but i shoot a flinter.....if everything isnt clean and dry it might not go boom.....on my neck i carry my pan primer, pan brush, and vent pick....in my bag i carry a tc uview flask and mesurer....5 premesured charges of powder, bullets, starter, more flint and leather then i can use in a season, dry patches, alcohol patches, lubed patches, extra priming powder(actually came in handy when i lost my pan charger one day!) cleaning jag, ball puller and probably more things i cant remember off hand....but i do use most of it....or could if a problem came up......never know....i am always brushing the pan and putting in a fresh priming charge....and always whiping down the flint and frizzen face with alcohol patches to keep them clean and dry.....cant wait for next year....its alot of fun hunting with a flinter....

RE: Field Accessories
Speed loaders with seperate compartments for bullet and powder are always a must, as is a jag, patches, and short starter if using sabots. I don't usually bother with a bullet puller since it won't work with most bullets I use. I do prefer a better ramrod so I use an XS Sights Powerrod with it's built in T-handle. I keep all my ML gear in my ML pouch. Mounted on my rifle is a bipod if I'm using an inline, or I carry shooting sticks if not. Extra primers, caps or primed Full Plastic jackets (if using my Extreme) round out my ML equipment.
Of course that is just what I carry for my ML.
