Blackpowder rules for Colorado 2002
Am going on a black powder hunt for elk to colorado in 2002. I have an encore 209X50 will I be able to use this rifle? If not, what can I use? Are sabots legal and what about scopes? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the board Pa-Ok Hunter,Your best bet would be contact Colorado's Game Commission (DNR).I'm sure they could give you first hand inf. on legal equipment in their state. I know allot of states don't permit scopes on BP guns during BP season.Wish you luck on your Elk hunt. Ruger Redhawk
