Default Knight rifles

Looks like the Knight 500 won both matches in the Masters Classes, the M5 and Inline Modified shoots. The scoring was tight!
Congrats to Doug S., who won both matches.

Don't know much about this competition. Is this an offhand shoot or off a bench?

You can shoot from any position, although the two most common are bench and some shoot prone. A front rest can be used, with no more than a single contact of no more than 4". No rear rest and the butt of the rifle can't touch the bench, it must be shot from the shoulder.

Here's the first flyer. It is INCORRECT, in that there were 5 shots at each target/range....... Not 10.

Here are the final posted results:

You're always WELCOME to bring the rifle of your choice and shoot from any position you'd like, with or without a scope and barrel of your choice.

I seen a target where a young lady put 5 rounds in the "X", shooting a percussion rifle off hand at 50yds. That "X" is about the size of a nickel by the way. She'll shoot with ya I bet
Shooting 300 - 400 & 500yds, well, you're probably on your own.

If you like or love muzzleloading, make the trip just once. The Nationals will be in June, you should plan a trip. Its easy to talk muzzleloaders, but attending just a single time, will open up a whole new world to you. Its a very easy place to be humbled....

Wow, no..."its just a better gun" in there anywhere. That "old tech" Knight DE 50cal held its own pretty well too.

Nice to see most people are dumping sabots. You just cant compete using them. I guess everyone learns sooner or later.
