I just love my traditionals. I have 5 T/Cs (Hawkens and Renes) from 45 to 58 cal all sporting GM barrels. I also have a couple of inlines that rarely see the light of day. Just something about dropping that big old hammer and making a lot of smoke that puts a smile on my face.

I'm with you Bronko. I admire what some of the guys here can do with their in-lines at long range, and enjoy their reports. And I shoot my in-lines on occasion and enjoy them when I do.

But when it comes down to pure fun nothing beats a side hammer, a big cloud of white smoke, and dirty fingers. (Even when I'm cheating with the scoped Sinful Sisters.) For me, there's nothing more satisfying than taking a deer with a side hammer, especially a flintlock.
