Been making my own connies for longer than a lot of you pups have been alive there Trip Also cast my own Keith style WC (original design not that Lyman junker) for my .45LC's. I'm just getting back into ML'ers after a break from them for a while and I like all this new technology in the bullet industry is all. It's intriguing to a mechanical mind.

Bronko old buddy, some of the dang Doe's around here don't need that body armor. Dang things are born with it! Some big broads!

No, we probably don't recommend little tiny soft lead bullets unless its for a youth load or a load for a small woman.
I've used Cecil's 300grn Extreme Elites in my Flintlock every year for many years now. I did buy a 45cal 1/20 FL barrel so I can shoot the 200grn Bloodline or the 215CF bullet. This year will probably be the first year ever I will use all Lehigh bullets. Even in my ULA😉😛

No, no, no. It would just be a pain in the butt opening two sections. We'd all look at both of them anyway. We'll be seeing a bit more diversity come Fall.

(As for smokeless, I have absolutely not interest.)

I'm sorta surprised your not. It's the cheapest way to use a muzzleloader.

Well that is why im all for it. I have no interest in most side locks except maybe a White Sporting Rifle with a fast twist 45cal or 40cal barrel. Well, ok a 451 Gibbs is rather interesting too.

Gm54...

I brought that up awhile back and got kicked in the head for it. Anymore I just don't read what I don't wanna read. Saves on long drawn out threads over this VS that. Just my $.02

Semi...

As for your first statement that I bolded... I disagree, but that's just my opinion. As for the statement you placed in parentheses... I strongly agree!.

I did not know you can cheat when shooting for fun. I must have missed the rules. Its totally legal here for hunting and no different than anyone using BH209 except.....

I can burn 38-39gr of powder and achieve the same speed as 84gr of BH209 with less recoil. I can burn 58gr and pretty much smoke any BH209 load in a 50cal. Oh and i can clean when i feel like it. No need to worry about corrosion while im hunting on a fouled bore.
