that forest is a breeze to walk through compared to the crap we have down here.

Bigger zoom Jon? I have a reverse zoom. It looks farther away than what I see with my eyes. Lousy for taking pictures of game. Plus, when I turn the camera on it makes a whirring noise that scares away the animals.

yeah mine does that too, i have the nikon coolpix118 and makes that noise when turned on. I normally borrow my dads Kodak camera with has i think a 16 or 18x zoom lens. That one is nice but scary if i bust it lol. The video camera though is the best to use IMO.

Muley Hunter 08-03-2012 01:22 PM

Why would I do that? It's cold out there. :p

You just know I can't miss a good opportunity to give a poke to you guys when I get the chance.

Not a problem bud. I can take a lot of poking if it's in fun.

Not very much when it isn't.

Turned 50 myself on Dec 31st....over the winter I gained 30lbs! went from 220 to 250. But with the Grapes Froze and not much work to do I decided I better lose some weight because my pants dont fit anymore. And if my regular pants dont fit then my Groetex Mossy Oak Hunting clothes wont fit either.
So for the last 5 weeks I've been cutting firewood, and carrying the logs through the woods on my shoulders to my truck, then splitting them by hand, dropped 25lbs and feel as good as I did when I was 25.
Im sure I'll still be able to pass on the 4-wheeler when it comes time to drag out my deer this fall, I like the 2 mile drag, No Pain No Venison!

Never say drag 2 miles to an old guy.

Skin, quarter, and haul out the pieces sounds better. (sort of)

Remember, you hunt Mulies and I Whitetails, but I refuse to think Im Older. There was a bunch of my daughters friends at the house a few weeks ago and there all big boys, one looked like the Hulk.
Well the pride set in and I told him "lets arm wrestle" ok the drinks helped. I thought I was in for a fight but won no problem. Then the rest of the 20-25 year old guys wanted in, I beat everyone of them, there girlfiends were'nt happy but I was. My Daughter even videoed it and put it on Facebook.
I refuse to let age get to me, mabey someday and Im sure it will, but a season or so ago I shot 2 big does, 121 and 126lbs and I dragged both out on the snow with my MLer 2 miles to my truck.
The best part was when I got to my truck my buddy called me on my cell and said you want us to come help drag them out??? I told him I was already at my truck with both of them in the bed.
