Knight makes nothing, which is reflected in there prices IMHO. but the product is top shelf. BPI is a smart company if nothing else, buying up company's so all there rifle parts are covered under there umbrella. which means higher profits. it also doesn't hurt when you spend very little on R&D, since they copy most of what they make lol. I am not sure they make anything on the actual gun, they coordinated and assemble. But they did make the decision to go all american.

And yet i do not understnd the reason for the question... most products today are made by a conglomeration of manufactures and brought together into a completed project and this case with Night being responsible for the procurement on quality parts to make a quality rifle.

You do not actually think your chronograph is built be one company do you???

oh i was just wanting to know if they made anything or if it was just contractors that made the parts for the guns.

my chronograph gets high praise from randy wakeman!! So im floating on air when i read his review and then scratch my rear end and go, wait a second! Hes praising a product that has faulty electronics! LOL.

Sabotloader I only asked because if possible I like to support AMERICANS. It's very hard today but I do my best. Its sad how we are transforming from a country of production to more of a service country. It's very nice to know KNIGHT supports american business and keeps it within our borders.

Just for clarity, and I am not saying the Knight triggers aren't ok, but I don't think Knight has used a true Timney trigger since the mk-85s. Since then they have referred to it as either a "timney style" trigger or a Knight trigger.
The ones on the mks are a notch above.

You could be right. I thought all my Elites were Timney triggers. The Mountaineer is a Timney trigger.

MD, I was just wondering which KNIGHT you have, I might have room for ONE more. I've never had to cover one up at the range, most of the time everyone want to shoot my KNIGHT instead of there own ML.

I am really looking forward to seeing one of these in person.
Grouse, Is Knight actively building a dealer network?

I certainly can not speak for Knight or Tom, but whether a dealer network gets built is really dependent on us... the consumer. If Knight can create the demand then dealers will want to handle the product. In my opinion Knight has sort of a uphill battle creating a market for their products. Most importantly they have to create a demand and along with that they have to create a trust actually it might be better put they need to restore a trust.

One thing i really believe they are trying...

Jay, I totally understand your question... it makes very good sense... I just wondered why the queen of CVA would ask if Knight actually built anything??? Knowing that BPI/CVA doesn't build their products either, they contract out to the lowest bidder.
