I like the Mountaineer and the Long Range Hunter, but the best of the bunch is the Littlehorn. That gun should help muzzleloader hunting grow. I know I will be buying one for my son. The Wolf is nice but still a little large for him. I think Knight is on the right track with this one.

yea be break actions are dirtier and usually not as acurate. Though I'm happy with my Apex. Lots better lockup than a Encore.

As for the fact of the bolt. I'd rather have a bolt gun then a drop action anytime. Bolt guns are not that hard to clean. They have a strong action. It gives you a once piece stock so the rifle harmonics should be better. I just don't see it a problem.

As for their price, any time you purchase factory direct the prices are high. Wait a while for them to hit the stores and they will come down.

the way people were talking about knight all these months, they certainly were making it seem they had an entire line up of new muzzle loaders and designs.

That is a total fabrication just like how you implied only "some" companies online stores are higher on the MM board. $549 for a Accura V2 according to CVAs site. The top of the line Extreme is $539 with shipping and a nice laminate stock.

http://store.cva.com/cva/rifles.html

According to CVA's msrp they are very much in line with the competition on the Extremes and they have FULLY adjustable triggers.

Nice try though.

Its been stated from day one that the "new" Knight would likely only have 3 models at first and thats about what they have done. Show me one post they proves they said they would have more.

It worries me a little on the MOuntaineer that the stock doesn't seem to fall off enough to the cheek pad? Hard to tell from their pictures, but may be similar to the KRB that was designed for a scope and harder to shoot open sights due to lack of drop. Anyone out there actually handled one preproduction?

Sorry i call BS. Everyone was was wondering 'what if any new rifles" they would bring to the market! i never saw anything indicating a new offering.although i must say i am extremely disappointed they didn't and apparently failed to address the BH 209 breechplug issue, as CVA did also.

MD the link he displayed is directly from CVA's web site.and the prices you quoted are much lower than CVA's site store. we all know you can sometimes pick them up cheaper from dealers.
