Cessna Flyer:
As a alternative, if the drive is too much, you can always order your BP from powder, inc. I believe the URL is http://www.powderinc.com
Be advised that thereis ahazmat shipping fee youwould have to pay and they only ship UPS. The last time I ordered from them, the hazmat fee was about $45 in addition to the other shipping charges. That may work out to be cheaper than the gas and snacks you would be buying to make the drive. Also powder, inc only ships in 5lb increments and you would need to fax them a copy of your drivers license for proof of age.
I have worked with them in the past and have had nothing but good luck with them.
You might also want to try experimenting with "duplex loads." Briefly what that involves is using Pyrodex or 777 as your primary charge but you pour about 10 grains of real BP down the barrel first. The real BP is used tohelp with igniting the Pyro/777.
I have done it as a novelty at the range with my flinters, never in a hunting situation-too cumbersome to load. But offered here as a suggestion.
