Boy was I wrong about T/C's customer service

You will find that when you get hold of them after their holiday break that they have one of the best customer service departments of any company out there. You will actually talk to someone in this country, that is at the actual company and knows about the products they sell. Instead of somebody in BFE Bangledesh that can hardly speak English never mind knows anything about the product!!!!

Hey BIG.PAUL....Sorry to read of your unfortunate experience with T/C customer service. I have NEVER had a problem with them and I currently owneleven T/C firearms. My parents bought me my first Hawken in 1973 as a Christmas gift and I have bought all the others since. I have muzzleloading riflesfrom .32 to .58 caliber and oneContender handgun. They have done repair work and have sent me additional parts that I've requested at no cost to me other than what it cost me to ship to them. Maybe things have changed since Smith & Wesson bought them out, but I doubt it. A neighbor of mine recentley broke the stock on his Hawken when he fell on an icy hillside and I told him I bet Thompson Center would replace it at no cost other than shipping. He is going to contact their customer service this week and I will post the outcome....Bps

When I ordered the 250 ackley barrel, they told me they were shutting down for two weeks during the holiday season. That is maybe why you didn't get them. They said it would take twelve weeks because of the holidays. I just called them a couple days ago and canceled the barrel. Got them right away. I ordered a barrel from MGM with select match Shilen barrel. Can't wait. Since I ordered the select match barrel it will take six to eight weeks. They have to order it from Shilen. Otherwise it is four to six.
