Hey BIG.PAUL....Sorry to read of your unfortunate experience with T/C customer service. I have NEVER had a problem with them and I currently owneleven T/C firearms. My parents bought me my first Hawken in 1973 as a Christmas gift and I have bought all the others since. I have muzzleloading riflesfrom .32 to .58 caliber and oneContender handgun. They have done repair work and have sent me additional parts that I've requested at no cost to me other than what it cost me to ship to them. Maybe things have changed since Smith & Wesson bought them out, but I doubt it. A neighbor of mine recentley broke the stock on his Hawken when he fell on an icy hillside and I told him I bet Thompson Center would replace it at no cost other than shipping. He is going to contact their customer service this week and I will post the outcome....Bps

i sent barrel into T/C to have it blued, they were going to charge me 40 dollars.

then they found out it was a hawkins lifetime one i bought in 1970 with shiny brass.

he then said, OH HECK, LETS PASS ON IT.

those guns now i see at RMC for 699 dollars new, wow, i paid 119 in 1970.
