Update on my new ML decision
#1
Well, I think I have decided on the Genesis over the Optima. Reason being, is that I just dont have time to get over to Albertlea to Walmart. And to be honest, I really like the looks of the Genesis for the money. Anyways the question I have, is that I called Cabelas, and they dont have one on hand, but they have some coming, and I was told that they should have one in the next week. So I have my name on one, but have not oficially paid for it. The CVA mail in rebate ends on the 31st of the month, and I probably wont have the chance to get there to pick it up before then. So how does that work with the rebate? I could have bought it from their website, but I dont have a credit card to use, so I have to get it right from the store.

I think you made a wise decision in taking the Genesis over the Optima.I'm sure the CVA fans hate me now huh?. Anyway you can print the rebate form off online or fill it out online at Remington's site, and maybe Cabelas could give you the info needed to fill it out ( the serial number) before the deadline. Worth asking them, especially since it's not your fault it is on backorder. They should have the serial numbers of the ones that they have coming in.If not e-mail remington and see what they say. Good choice and good luck with it.

I'm sure Remington needs the receipt dated before the 31st. You could sign-up for the Cabela's card and save yourself another $20 and 0% interest for 12 months if your purchase is over $199.
