'Tis funny that mostly the same folks crying the blues over low wages and highcost of livingare the very same folks pumpin' hard earned money into overseas bank accounts.........and justifying it with their"tight budgets".

With that logic, the $40 it takes to buy the blind at Walmart...would be better spent at the grocery store meat counter.

We livin' the dream....................

My grand father worked in the PA coal mines when he was 7 years old to help support the family. Who ever makes the product and does a good job, Thank You to who ever you are!

i agree if it was not for walmart i would not have been able to start hunting. This year is differnt i was able to safe up alot of money for hunting so alot of stuff will come from cabelas or sportsmans guide. but my scent a way scent muzzleloader target alot of stuff i did not plan to buy there will be bought at one of three local walmarts with 20 miles of me.
I found my muzzleloader 100 bucks cheaper then any were else around here there.

when did a simple thread become a political.

as for walmart, some of us are on tight budgets or there are not that much other choice.

People are funny Critters.....

Do you think fuel prices are high because you saved a few bucks at Wally World on your hunting blindand the oil companies think you can afford it now?

Fuel prices are high because China is buying every drop they can get their hands on,driving the market off the charts. They can afford it because we've pumped so much money into their economy buying their cheap crap to save ourselves a couple of bucks. With the higher cost of transporting goods to sale comes a higher cost of those goods...a win/win for the bean counters. Inflate the cost of goods to "cover" the higher cost of shipment and you've just created an easy windfall none of us are willing to realize......

EVERYONE is to blame for that, not just the guy who wants a hunting blind, or a family that needs shoes. There's little choice to buy anything BUT chinese made products these days BECAUSE we've let it go so far into the crapper. We shoulda smartened up a long time ago and fixed it then. Now it's acceptable to keep spending money on chinese goods because we've no other realistic choice....and the vicious cycle continues to spiral downward.

We're our own worst enemy............

Given the choice, which thankfullyI am, I'd rather figure out how to hunt WITHOUT a blind than spend $40 bucks on a cheap POS from Walmart.

YMMV, obviously...........

For $40, i could buy that walmart blind and put 30+ lbs of deer meat in the freezer and not depend on steriod injected meat that you buy from the store.

$40 for meat at walmart gives me what, Maybe 10lbs of meat that has more fat than actual meat.

Hunting without a junk $40blind made in China gives me $40 to spend on other stuff to eat with that 30# of deer meat, and still havemoney left over......

30#'s, that's it?

That's an amazing return on your investment, I did 50 pounds of just sausage last season........
