First that is an excellent gun, for 150 yds you cold use a lot of different bullets the 250 Gold Dot happens to be the most accurate in my Triumph and BDC aside I sight mine 3" high at 100yds and dead on at 150yds and 3 " low at 175. The Nikon is an excellent scope, I am not to sure about the BDC as I have never felt the need of one. I use a MMP-HPH 24 Sabot and 110gr BH209. It will also do very well with all of the Shock Waves especially the 200gr 50/40 and the 200gr 40cal. XTP have been shooting the new FPB hornady with 100&110gr BH209 and getting minute of angle which I consider excellent for a conical.

I sighted in my Encore yesterday with the Omega BDC scope and I must admit it liked the 150grn charge with the 250 SW allot.
I shot pretty good.I have it dead on at 100 yards like it suggests.
I am going mark the spots on the scope for that load and then sight in the PB 270grn platinums.

150, any bullet will do that sighted in 3" high at 100, so if you sight the 250g TC SW in for 100 yards you should be good to go. As for bonded or unbonded, for elk use bonded for deer use regular SW.
The bonded are bonded lead to jacket, so there is no separation of the jacket from the lead core.
