120 grains of Pyrodex P and that big conical in that little barrel would be a heck of a punishment.

Roundballs are a good projectile. Put in the right spot, they have sure worked for me over the years..

lol...it sure was! Was just trying out some different loads... My buddy wouldn't even shoot the same load after seeing me do it....

I watched a person load my Renegade .54 caliber once with 110 grains of Pyrodex RS and a 426 grain Buffalo Bullet Conical. I never said anything as he claimed he knew what he was doing. Needless to say, he pulled that trigger and that rifle smacked him in the cheek and nose.. Then he was mad at me for not warning him. Although the pumpkin on a fence post he was shooting at got knocked off.. he hit the post and blew the post topapart..

Wow! I bet that was a shocker to say the least. My 50's can be a handful for me if I get too heavy...
