haverster sabertooth in a tc barrel
#1
has anyone tried the haverster sabertooth out of a tc barrel. I shot 3 last thursday out of my knight and they where so loose, they almost sled down the barrel by them. even after firing one and not swabbing they still felt loose. So, how tight are they on an tc barrel.

Corey, dont shoot those if they slide down your barrel easily. You know what happened to me with that X-150 and the 300 grain sabertooth. You dont want to ever experience that on the first day of a hunt.

that is why I am not going to shot them out of my knight. when I get a little cast. I am going to get some more Power belts and work a load for the knight

I don't shoot around the house on the weekdays. I am going to the range on thursday to work up an hunting load for the new englander and work on my round balls and play with some conicals that people sent me. I am going to try the sabertooths out of my the new englander

tested to see how the sabertooth bullets fit in my barrel of my new englander. did not push them down to far, just enough about a mm, I was fighting to get the skirt out of the end of the barrel.

Load up 80 grains Pyrodex and see how it does. I think you use pyrodex? I forget.
