FFG v. FFFG
I know FFG is more coarse than FFFG, and have heard you us FFFG in pistols, but can it be used in long guns too?
I just picked upa pound ofPyrodex RS which I know I can use in my MZ, but they have a ton more Pyrodex P which I'm not sure about. With the sale that's going on now, I was able to get it for just over $10. Thought that was a pretty good deal, with them to only be getting better.
Thanks.

RE: FFG v. FFFG
Pyrodex P is pistol grade or 3f grade if you will. A little finer then the RS which is rifle/shotgun grade or 2f. Pyrodex P works real good in a lot of rifles. I happen to like the powder. Just remember that Prodex P being finer in grade then the RS will produce a little more barrel pressure. So cut your charge back about 10%. I wish I found a store with Pyrodex P for that price. They would not have anymore when I walked out of there...
