No more store bought balls
Just ordered a .440 and .530 Lee Single cavity Round ball molds from Track of the wolf. Got a couple pounds of Powerbelt lead that i will mold up for the .54cal and use those for hunting this year. Hopefully i'll draw a tag. Have even more lead from maxi's and great plains and recovered roundballs, i'll use that for the .440 mold.
Its nice not having to depend on the locals for having the items i need. This one store hasnt stocked #11 caps since Mid August!
Also going to pick up 1000 CCI #11 Mag percussion caps. He has them for $34 which is a great deal.

frontier gander, watch where they are demolishing old buildings I found one where there was lead sheeting [it was on the roof I guess as roofing this is pure lead] they were delighted to have me hall it away so they did not have to deal with it I took 200pounds of it I thought that would last me the rest of my life. wow! 200lbs is a wet dream to someone that molds his own roundballs
I'll have to check around. The bad thing about this area is everyone thinks their dump is worth something and they dont tear anything down.
