johnny2.. your a smart fellow. I'd much rather wait in a truck then run up and down steep hills all day. That's for them young people.

But since they are that age, then the Knight would be a good choice, as it will last forever and their kids can use it as well. Also the great customer support. Although Thompson Center is nothing to sneeze at. The problem is there are so many choices. Just make sure the rifles you get them. do not shoot as good as your own.. We would not want them outshooting you now....

Jonny2

If they would like to have a Rifle that will shoot Conicals and sabots both with great Accuracy
Look at the Knight Disc Extreme & the Knight KRB7 These guns will last them & their sons with a life time of use
I have both guns and they are the best built , Best in Accuracy ML gun I have ever owned , Would recomind them very Highly to any one!

Ok,heres the deal.I'm looking into buying each of my sons a new
inline rifle for the early season in PA..So I am talking 4 rifles now.

Of all the brands and makes out there, which do you all think is
the best, eaisest to load, easiest to clean, most accurate and one
that will shoot just about anything you feed it...Will be wanting
to scope each one as well...I have plenty of Goex 2 F on hand,so
there is no need to be searching for powder to use...Thanks
Well I hunt in NY during Shotgun season with a MLer and have for the last8 years. Near Woodhaull, NY.I have hunted in Pa with an inline for the 1 week does only season in October. There are many good rifles out there, but since your buying so many and I am sure you want them all the same, I would go with a Z5 Omega. Why an Omega? I have a regular Omega and it is accurate, easy to clean, safe for a a young person (must pull hammer back to shoot it) and very accurate. They can be had for < 250/rifle. Put a 3x9 Simmons scope on it (I am assuming your limited in funds) and you have a gun for around $350 that will serve all your needs for PA and NY State. The last reason Irecommend an Omega is TC guarantee of lifetime warranty. I send mine back after 3 years of usebecause the trigger would not hold back, they put a new trigger assembly in the gun and a new breech plug and mailed it back to me. Best wishes to you and your boys, you are blessed with a "quiver full of them". Aside from the gift of salvation by your leadership example, I can't think of a greater gift than to give agun toeach of your boys and train them inhunting. If $350/gun is too much look at the CVA line and their beginning models.

Whatever you decide to by, you should call the vendor and ask to speak to the boss. With a purchase of four rifles I'd bet you can negotiate a "special" discount, or at the very least get them to throw in a couple of boxes of bullets.

The Triump is the best for convience ans sabots [they shoot PB's and Saborthooth bullets very well but for a lead backed conical mine has to have a thick greased wad and a20 gr vol. of corn meal.
The White is the best conical shooter but it might be hard to come by 4 of them.
The Knight KRB7 is a good gun if you perfer a heavier one it will shoot a wide ranger of loads well.
If price enters into the equation the the best gun for the money is the Z5 Omega.
If you want something low priced then your are looking at a CVA or Triditions.

If you call 419-281-2557 and ask for the gun deparment .. that is Fur, Fin & Feathers by the way, they checked for me,and found a whole new supply of them Knight Disc Extremes with the stainless steel fluted barrel in .50 caliber in the basement (it took him a while to go look). And they have the red primer holders in stock to (although you get 20 of them with the rifle .. like that would hold me). And do not ask me how I know all this. I'm embarrased enough about giving in to my weakness...[&o]
