Why am I not surprised????? - mine will be here Tuesday -Conversion kitWednesday - but I am not sure when the scope base are getting here and the snow is not melting fast enough not even close to being fast enough...

Dave,

Had somewhat a problem finding them because I think Warne has discontinued them....

I will probably order another Bushnell 3200 with a ballistic reticule - but can not afford it yet although I am looking at a Nikon Pro-Staff with BDC for $130 - but can not afford that right now either...

So for temporary I am putting Pentax GameSeeker witha ballistic reticuleon it.

Gees! I'm like a little kid waiting for that gun to arrive...

Natchez has some "Browning/Bushnell 3200 elites" on special for $149.00 but I think it said they only had 3" eye relief. Does that sound right? They also had some Browning 2-7x32mm built on Elite standards for $119.00 I think it was.

I was thinking of silver bases, silver Warne QD rings, and a silver Leupold 2-7x33mm for this one. Never done that with a rifle before. I wonder what it looks like on a stainless barrel. I found that site before I read your post sabotloader. You were right, they were hard to locate. Their prices are not too bad. I used to have a different site where I bought all my bases and rings, but my when my computer crashed I lost all those links. I still have two sets of Warne QD rings around here in black though, so I might just go that way. They look nice too...

I saw that also but as I understand it the Browning's do not have the "Rain Guard" Lenses... Eye relief should be 3.3 @ 9 power

I did go with the matte black ones - because I have matte rings and more than likely the scope will be matte.

Well our local Wal Mart has a Leupold on sale that I really like. I want to see if my buddy that owns the gunshop will match their price. If he does, I will buy from him. Then I get free mounting of the scope and bore sighting and a trip to his range....

That eye releif I am almost sure said three inches, and I could just picture that thing coming back and getting me... I like a lot of eye relief because in all honesty, I get lazy on the range and forget sometimes about proper hold. The rifle of course soon reminds me, but still no one likes a poke in the eye. The Nikon Pro Staff is a good scope. I really like it. And the 2-7x32mm has excellent eye relief.

Dave,

Have you ever looked at Scopes N More - they are down the state a bit in Nampa but really have decent scope prices...
