Default TC Encore Pro Hunter Stainless or Blue

I wanted the Stainless version of the Encore209X50but I found a great deal on a Pro Hunterwith a Blue barrel. It will cost about $150 more for the StainlessEncoreandI am trying tojustified the different.

I would like to hear your opinion:

1. Can you tell me which one you prefer?

2. Do you think the StainlessBarrel is worththe extra $150 upcharge?

3. Cleaning?

4. Does the Pro Hunter Rifle Sluh Barrel come in Blue?

Thanks,
Larry

1- My $0.02 is that I personally just don't like a shinny barrel.Maybeits because I do a lot of turkey huntin'butIjust don't like it.

2- So for me, the stainless would have to be $150 CHEAPER than the blue for me to consider it and then I still probably wouldn't choose it.

3- People claim-and I believe its true that stainless is easier to clean. However, I'm picky about cleaning mine so I don't have an issue w/this.

Nothing more than personal likes and dislikes. I don't and probably never will own a stainless long gun - just don't like them. However, I do own three stainless hand guns and like them.(go figure)

I went through the same dilemma and went with the stainless , I thought i would have less problems with rust. But i have always like stainless . But I also have a friend who is a gunsmith and got mine at his cost , whichwas cheaper than the blued one atour local gun shops , even after B.C., shipping and tax.If he had not got the gun for me i stillMAY have got the SS.
