I will get those 270 gr and try them out this coming year. I have some odds and ends i need to shoot up to be rid of them gathering dust on work bench.

I use a 300gr Widner bullet which is a round nose soft point in 50 cal in my System One with 140gr RS and a musket cap. I have taken every thing from small deer and boar to elk and bear with it and it has done an excellant job every time, if I ever get the bufflo hunt I would like to do going I will use it again. Lee

I took two deer this week with the .45 cal 300 grain Uni-Cor Gold Dot SP. Excellent expansion looking at both exit wounds.
