BBSB Wads

Default BBSB Wads

I wondered if anyone has tried MMP's Balistic Bridge Sub Base wads if so how did they work? Lee

I tried them for awhile but never really felt that i shot a hot enough load to justify them. When i checked the bases of my recovered sabots - they show no signs of heat or blow out. You know somebody shooting a Savage might really benefit from.

I still have plenty - i think - stored in the sabot box - if you want to try a few let me know....

I have a couple packs of them. I was told that unless you are shooting very hot loads, they are of little value. Now if I were shooting a Savage ML10-II I would try using them. Or if I were shooting 150 grains of powder and a light bullet I might give them a go. I even tried them in the hollow base of a conical bullet. I thought they were showing some promise actually. Then the next time out, I could not repeat the luck of the day before. Still for standard every day hunting loads, I do not find much value in them.
