Does it matter what kind of wad I use as long as its the right wad for 7/8oz of shot? Like I am reloading Federal, and Remington. Tell me what to do. My first time.

when reloading shotshells I stick pretty close to published data.....You could probably get away with substitution but I don't recommend it.

There's a lot of free reloading data by many companies and I'd recommend you find the published data.
