Default 2-3 month old load?

I've had my Optima loaded for at least2,close to 3months now since an unsuccessful hog hunt. What do ya think the odds are that it'll fire?

Pretty good, as long as its been kept dry. Put a cap on it and light er off.

yep. should fire just fine. Had a couple speed loaders loaded with real blackpowder for my flintlock and they had been loaded since september and both fired right off the bat and grouped well. Just make sure you clean your rifle after you're done shooting it.

Not knowing anything about how it was stored, or the conditions you hunted in, that would be a hard question to answer. If it does not fire with the first 209 primer, cap it again and the second should fire it.

If the rifle was well cared for, it should fire fine.

So far, from what I know, goatbrother nailed it.

Powder in cannon balls from the Civil War is still as good as the day it was made, if no water has gotten in, and it is still dry! So if your powder didn't get wet, it will work!
