RE: Omega or Knight ???
I have a .50 cal stainless Knight Wolverine that I bought new in 1995. I have it topped with a 3x9x40 Tasco World Class Scope and use musket caps for ignition. I use clean shot powder and Knight 310 grain saboted bullets. I have this rifle zeroed at 100 yards. I have taken at least 1 deer each year with this rifle since its purchase and set up. This rifle has done everything I have expected of it and not once have I thought of purchasing or using any other type of in-line muzzleloader except a Knight.
Just my 2-cents for what its worth.

I have both rifles...you really can't go wrong with either one. The Omega is easier to clean, but I like the way the Knight feels in my hands. The Knight has a more of a pistol grip style stock than the Omega. I hope in the not so far future that T/C will offer a thumbhole stock for the Omega. This would make it feel more like the Encore and that would be a big plus in my book.
I like the idea of not having to buy plastic discs and the action of the Omega closes up really good. With the Omega it's easier to load the 209 primers too.
Good Luck and keep it in the 10X

RE: Omega or Knight ???
Just upgraded my Knight Wolverine that I had bought and used since 1988 to a Magnum Disc rifle with stainless barrel and love it. I can't say anything about the other rifle because I know nothing about it but the Knights are hard to beat.
By the way I got mine for 376.00 after shipping.

This is almost like being in my tree stand (except much warmer). Still waiting on the BIG sales. Does anybody know of a place for some good prices?
P.S. thanks for all of your responses.
