Default knight disc or omega

I can get a new original style disc rifle for $299 and wonder if I should get a tc omega instead at 70 dollars more? Which is the better gun?

MYSELF AND MY HUNTING PARTNER HAVE THE OMEGA, HE HAS NO COMPLAINTS SAYS ITS THE BEST GUN HE EVER SHOT, WE BOTH HAVE TROUBLE LOADING THE GUNS WE BOUGHT BOTH GUNS FROM THE SAME DEALER WE GOT THE STAINLESS , LOADING THE GUN WITHOUT BORBUTTER IS OUT OF THE QUESTION, MAYBE WE GOT A BAD BATCH OR SOMTHING ,,,,, AS FAR AS SHOOTING IT SHOOTS GOOD UP TO 1OO YARDS THEN YOU PLAY HELL GETING IT TO HOLD ACC, MOR THEN A 100.
I OWN THE KNIGHT WORVERINE WITH THE 209 KIT I SHOOT 150 YARDS IN A 4 INCH CIRCLE WITH A 3X9 SCOPE, IN MY OPINION MY OLD NIGHT CLEARLY OUTSHOOTS THE OMEGA, I REGRET EVER PURCHASING THE OMEGA, THE ONLY GOOD THING I SEE IT IS A HECK OFA LOT EASIER TO CLEAN ,, WELL THATS JUST MY O HOPE IT HELPS I HAVE BEEN SHOOTING BLACK POWDERS FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND THE DEALER WERE I BOUGHT THE OMEGA SAID ITS BECAUSE OF THE STAINLESS BARREL , THATS WHY ITS SO HARD TO LOAD ??

I do not think you would go wrong with either of the rifles. I have a Knight Wolverine LK-93 which even though had a 22" barrel is a great shooting rifle and so far very dependable. I also have a T/C Black Diamond XR which is a great shooting rifle. Which one is better? Well I would sure hate to live on the difference.

Just due to price, I would take the Knight. Although I have read that Knights are sabot shooters and not much for concials. Mine has tended to prove that statement correct. I will admit that my T/C has been a great conical shooter also.

they are both sabot shooters, or powerbelts (in the omega). if you are trying to load the old lead chunks in a modern inline, i think i can pinpoint your loading trouble

What bullet is so difficult to load in the Omega & not in a CVA, T/C, Austin/Halleck, Winchester, Traditions, Savage.... etc???

Knight Rifles have overbore barrels. That's why loading is easier in it vs 95% of other ML manufacturers.

Which one (Original Disc) or (Omega) is better? Well.... after 2-1/2 years, Omega builders are still running overtime hours 24/7 & is the highest rated consumer-satisfied ML on the market the past two calendar years. In the meantime, the Knight Disc has been discontinued. So will someone please tell me why Knight would discontinue a rifle better than the Omega?

I always recommend Knight products. My next inline will be a Knight! But there is no contest which one is better in this thread comparison. Had you compared the Omega to the more upscale Knight Disc Elite, I would of declared it a draw.
