One other benefit of the NEF series of rifles is that the breech area is over-built for extra stength and max SAFETY.

It's been called the Anti-Lawsuit breech

I own a traditions pursuit pro and I have to admit, I love it. I have it outfitted with a nikon 3-9x40mm scope with see through mounts. I had the open sights as well as the scope sighted in at 100 yards with 2.5"-3" after using ony about 30 rounds. To me, thats great. Are there better guns out there, I'm sure but I've only got about $500 tied into my entire rig. You would almost have to blow all of that just for the gun if you wanted to buy a unit with equal quality and features if you were look else where. With that said, I dont see how buy a pursuit pro could be a mistake.

chuckhawks dont own any of his rifles i think he just gives crappy reports that sometimes, are way off the wall. Ive never handled the pro but the XLT is awesome. Esp. when its setup with a thumbhole stock.

Was going for a Pursuit Pro,but decided on a Knight Revolution II Black/Stainless for $20.00 difference and it is Green montain barrel.

I bought a Pursuit LT last year. I had 2 shots at 2 deer last year and dropped them both. One at 70 and the other at 110 yards. My son bought an LT the year before and dropped a nice doe in her tracks at 100 yards. Before I bought the LT I used a Traditions Deerhunter carbine for about 20 years. Traditions may not be the most expensive or the best built but they have put meat in the freezer for many years. A buddy of mine has a wicked Omega set up but missed his deer the last two years. I guess it may be true what they say.....It not the gun it's the gunner.

I think you made an excellent choice. Keep us posted as to how well the rifle shoots and your impressions of the way it cleans, loads, and functions..
