hey guys I have a problem I dont know what omega to get I have the z5 whitch I am giving to my father but I dont know if I want all camo or camo stainless barrel. what are the pros and cons of both right now I can get the all camo for about 50$ cheaper thanks

I am looking atchoice between the new encore and the stainless Omega with the laminated stock,the stainless is easy to take care of and less likly to have a rust problem it is very humid here; and the laminated stock is better balanced any holds down the recoil a bit because its a bit heavier.

FYI - this is just my personal preference. Yours may be different but that's what makes the world go 'round.

I like all black, so I have the Omega Z5 with a black matte Nikon Buckmaster scope. I frankly don't understand the benefits of stainless because Iclean my gun every time I use it. I also have heard on this forum that the camo barrels tend to flake off and are easily scratched.

I never liked the shiney stainless barrels, mounts, and scopes and have always preferred black for my hunting equipment - rifles and shotguns. If game gets close enough to see that I am pointing a black rather than a stainless or camo gun at it, then rest assured its all over for him.
