Sorry about picking on you, your collection just makes most of us jealous.
Picking on each other is a good thing. It keeps us motivated to get more rifles...

So Cayugad,
Are you on a 12 step program for your symptoms? I can help with some of those steps, just send me a few of those excess MLers and you will be cured.
There is no such thing as an excess muzzleloader, so I am safe with that request...

BTW Cayugad, note the earlier treatment plan, send the White now and we can both be cured.
loose my White?? I'd rather have the sickness. If you ever get the chance to shoot a White don't do it. You will go nuts trying to get one of your own because you'd never get mine..

OK - let's get down to the hard facts, here. Just how many muzzleloaders do you own? Or maybe you can give us a bracket . . . . like more than 100 but not more than 150 . . . . . I had a guy in my shop this summer who was talking about Winchester Model 70's, and it became apparent that he had a collection of more than 20. So I asked him how many guns he owned total -and he really didn't know. More than 200 but less than 300. All lined up along the walls of one big walk-in gun safe.

I only own about fifty guns total - six of which are muzzleloaders. I'd burn mine if I had Cayugad's.

oh yeah, i got the disease. i have . . . *counting in his head* . . . . . i think i have 9 muzzleloading rifles. purchased quite a few of them over the last year or two. i think one of the things that contributes to the disease is that muzzleloader manufacturers have moved on to new designs so quickly, and discontinued perfectly good previous designs (mk-85 springs to mind), that you can still get a lot of really good NIB muzzleloaders for great prices at online auction sites and such. the rifles i have acquired over the last few years have all been brand new when purchased (well, one was factory-refurbished), and have ranged from $70 on the low end to $350 on the high end. that's CHEAP in my book, and so far these have all been top-quality rifles that get a lot of use.
