cayugad your right you did it, thanks also to Underclocked for the info. I live in Utah and after reading all the posts about the m97s I called the Spotrsmans Warehouse in Provo and all they had was one left in the laminate and I wanted one in synthetic. So on Underclockeds advice I called the Aurora store and they are sending 3 synthetics and two laminates to our store here in Midvale. I was told they should be here by wednesday when I will go and put one on layaway. My question is how good do they shoot the conicals made by hornandy the great plains and the maxi balls? Also where do I get the wads you guys use between the powder and bullet? Oh they told me that the gun does not come with a hard case. I thought I read some place that they did.

Congrats on your new purchase. Since everyone else seems tobe purchasing orown a White these days, I'm tired of walking around here naked. SoI'm going to break down & get one... I think! I'm leaning towardsthe 45-cal thou in Super 91 model.
I'm scared to call Doc Whiteon the phone.Thepioneer of this rifle namemay have a heart attack when he finds out who's on the other side of the phone call. I have notstated all positive opinions on White rifles in years past. May bewiserIcall Bob Bowersor Tom Lodgeinstead.

Dave, I've been trying some of their (CircleFly at TOTW) 1/8" nitro card wads of the same .510 diameter. They seem to work great! Bigger and cheaper - go figure.
T7, a Super91 in .451 is going to be a bit of a rarity now. http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976711870.htm Doc White likely has no idea who you are or whatcomments you might have made.
bdeather, the Ultra Mags should come in a plastic hard case. Aside from the rifle itself, there should be 3 breechplugs (209 installed, musket & 11 packaged), two bolts (primer bolt installed, cap bolt in a green webbed sleeve), primer extraction tool, breechplug tool, 20 bullets, and owner's manual. If you have a choice of several, make sure the one you pick has all these items and also check the front sight insert is intact and secure.
