Yes, Hoppes is a solvent/patch lube...it's formal name is Hoppe's No9 BP Plus Solvent & Patch Lube.
I dump100 patches in a ziploc bag, squeeze a few squirts of Hoppes BP Plus in on them, shake them around a little and by the time I get to the range all the patches are evenly lubed/damp with the Hoppes...fouling is virtually non-existent even inlow humidity cold dry conditions.
