Thanks Sabotloader, I have a good digital camera and a couple of Digital trail cames and I am sure that I will be posting some pics. I appricate the help and I shall watch for some more info on the .458. I have been using sabots since they invented them but am still doing a lot of trial and error.
What brand of .458 do you use ? and where do you get your sabots? Thanks Lee

I use the new MMP-HPP .458 orange sabot. When I talked to Del about these sabots he indicated that he aquired the .458 machine from Knight. I order directly from MMP. http://www.mmpsabots.com/ Because Knight is usually a larger bore than normal I did not think I could load them, but he convinced me to try them.. and to my surprised they loaded in everything I have. I thought me A&H, Remingtonsand Thompson fast twist barrels were tight but they work fine. I just got a new fast twist Hawkin Stainless Steel barrel from Green Mountain - it seems tighter than anything I have right now - I'll find out this weekend. I do notload sabots that are stubborn, with the new polymere's it is not necessary,so I will have to find something that will work.

Lemoyne, in response as to how you pronounce cayugad when trying to rationalize why you needanother muzzelloader... it is"In the Dog House" at least that is the reaction my wife has had to my personal request for an A&HMountain Rifle. I hope your pronunciation is different for you!!
