I just purchased a digital trail camera, and i have gotten pics of deer on it the first night, but zero the following three nights. Is it normal for deer to take awhile to get used to the flash of it or am i just screwed?

Did you stink the place up? I don't own a trail cam, but I've heard and is sounds like a good idea to me, to make sure you're as scent free as you can be before mounting them. And don't touch them with your bare hands...

I have used both a flash and an IR flash camera and the flash has never seemed to make a bit of difference. There is probably another reason, like something as simple as they just moved to another area for a few days. You never know with these pesky deer.

Let me think about that one....
