I get great results using 100 grains of triple seven and the 240 grain T/C Mag Express Sabots. I also get good results with the 260 grain Dead Center and the 250 grain Shockwave...all using 100 grains of triple seven. The T/C mag express sabots aslo work great on deer.

I also tested some Shockey's Gold powder and had excellent results with theabove bullets and 100 grains of powder. I think you will be happy with your Omega.

Thanks for the info, I usually shoot a 1-38 twist System one with 130gr and a 230-451 dia. and a black knight sabot. The omega shot 2inch at 50yd with that load: I would like to halve that.
Going to try the loads you mentioned. Thanks Lee

I tried the 200gr Shock Wave today the more powder I put in the better it shot. I ended up with 3 x 50gr sticks of APP and a 3/4 inch group. Many thanks Lee

I think you will find your Omega will prefer bullets from 240gr. up. Mine seems to really come to life at 300gr. bullets and 90-100gr. of Black Mag'3 and also with similar loads of Pyrodex RS.

Lemoyne-I'm using 250 gr SST over 110gr of 777.Excellent accuracy and devestating hits on 3 deer.

I will try that 250sst when I can get some.Tried the 250gr Sabor Tooth,it also shoots best with 105 gr. APP[1.5 or less at 100yd] my guns never seem to like those power belts they grouped around 4 inchs,.my particular gun seems to want all the powder I dare give it

I think you might be on to something with that. I tried a bunch of loads in my Encore and it shoots the same groups with 150 as it does with 100-120. 150 shoots so much flatter that I settled on that load for the season.
