I have that starter with assorted tips.Works great.Used on Power Belts HP and poly tips and Hornady HP's.Nice little toy to have that prevents bullet distortion partic in tight barrel or in those 2-3rd load/shot situations when the load gets a bit tight[:@]
There is another one out there with plastic tip.Can't remember who makes it without lookin in my BP bag.

It is kinda fun to go to cabelas and bass pro shops and make shopping carts just to see how much you are going to spend and stuff like that. When you go to Cabelas go to hunting/optics and scroll downa little bit. You willfind the black powder category on the left hand side. Make a shopping cart for fun. You might be able to go to file and print to show your dad what you want. Good luck!

Pse-archer is right about the shopping cart idea, you never have no idea what it will all cost until you price it out. My first time was well over 200.00 of stuff that I thought I needed
