1st things 1st,,,im thankful your ok an did'nt get hurt! I bought my son a knight wolverine a few years back and i have drilled & drilled in his head about both safetys being on,,,for some reason that 2 safety system has scared me into believing that something like this could happen,,,that thumb safety has slid forward on me numerous times while carryin his gun through thick laurel in Pa. and im sure it's saved my a$$ from the gun goin off having both safetys on,,,im so glad that you posted your experience because this has been something that has really bothered me about the gun,,but did'nt push it because the gun shoots so good

Safties are nice. But they are mechanical devices made by humans, and as such are imperfect and cannot be relied upon to prevent an accident, as you have discovered!! This is the reason we are all taught to always control where the muzzle of our weapons are pointing, and never permit a firearmto point at anything we are interested in NOT SHOOTING!!
