pinnacle vs 777

RE: pinnacle vs 777
I've shot Pinnacle. Buy it in the 3f grade. The 2f would be very course. As for power, it is comparable to Goex or Pyrodex which would me Triple Se7en would produce a little faster pressure since it is 15 % stronger then those mentioned.
One thing about using Pinnacle is the fowling and crud ring are gone. I shot 12 - 240 grain XTP Mag Express out of my Knight Wolverine and never swabbed the barrel. Accuracy was very good with Pinnacle. My in lines and sidelocks liked the powder. The only thing that I had no luck with was Pinnacle and large conical bullets. The accuracy suffered.
When I get my next order of Goex Black Powder I fully intend to get about 4 pounds of Pinnacle 3f again...

RE: pinnacle vs 777
I have four pounds of Pinnacle fffg. Four pounds of Black Mag'3 (minus what I shot last year) and just found a source locally for 777 fffg (never could find anything other than 777 ffg here before). Just had a Sportsmans Warehouse open up about 10 miles away that has the 777. Unfortunately have to order the other two as yet. It is so hot here I am not going to shoot a comparison until the weather breaks. I hunt in much cooler weather so the comparison at 110 degrees would make little sense.
