If the moderators of "that other board" don't put a lid on those doing the hammering, and you get tired of being beaten up, just say goodbye, and invitethose you considerstraight shootersto gather over here. Based on some of the nursery school antics I observed, it would not surprise me to see a few attempts at "pot stirrer" posts show up on this board.

I'm sure HuntingNet would be happy to make room for addt'l membership in the Black Powder forum - but - you can bet there will be no "Pot Stirrers" coming here to start flame wars that will last for more than a Nano Second.

Not to be petty but I asked an honest question when they started hailing Idaho as the model for the world I asked if they agree with the use of double barreled rifles because I felt that was an advantage over inlines? Legit question if you ask me.
Even RB said I "Crossed the line" I was trying to start an argument,,, Jssss.

Tahq,
All I know is that I feel I owe you a beer or atleast a thanks.
I see they did have it out for you and you stuck up for mml'ers
everywhere.I threw a hissy fit over loosing the category aswell.
To be honest though, it may have been a blessing in disguise. I've
always liked the history part of ml'ing but I'm more of a hunter anyways. This site has far more info I'm capable of using in the real
world. I still visit the other site for the cannon section and
once in a while I browse around. It's unbeleiveable how their behaving towards the mml'ers. I don't post there anymore. I think I'm ashamed of them. Besides, after my little fit in the "holy cow"
thread I'd feel out of place knowing someone else could have read
me ranting and then sees me givin' advice.?!? I'm surprised I'm not
banned after what I called the owner and his minions. I stooped to their level.
Childishness.
I'm going to wash my hands.
Thanks again.

Time to take the high road and move on - enough ill feeling and harsh words typed that might be regretted in hindsight on both sides. The sad part is that word "sides". Perhaps its time to just put this to rest and enjoy the new digs

Yup - I'm over here too. Really enjoyed all I learned over there, but got rather weary at times with the back n' forth stuff that wasn't good natured.
My big question today is: If I'm just a fawn, how'd my ear get so tore up?
IM jaybe

Just dropped in and seen some familiar names.I really enjoyed the other site and gained alot of useful information.I was dissappointed to see the inline section removed and there were a few folks that just couldnt understand that i own an inline simply because i enjoy owning an inline.I still think its a great site.Well anyway im glad i found yall and am looking forward to talking about shooting and hunting with inlines.
Thanks Brandon
