how clear are these scopes as clear as a louepold.

I looked through one last year, and it was very clear. I haven't looked through a leupold, so I can't say if they are clearer. Visit your local sporting goods store, and take them outside and compare them.

I have gotten a number of these in the past couple of years for project guns. They are very comparable with the low end Leupolds. Seem to be bright and rugged. Great value.

dont wate your time with the burris. for a little more the leupold can be had. stop being so cheap only kidding. i think its more than just being clear that matters. its about how it gathers light in bad situations like rain and dusk-dawn type hunting.i would go leupold
